Context behind these rollup fields:
(1) Create a “Current MRR” field on the HubSpot Company:
Navigate to Settings > Objects > Companies > Manage Company Properties
- Go to Create Property > Create Manually:
- Property Label: Current MRR (CLS)
- Field Type: Rollup
- Rollup Type: Sum
- Number Format: Currency
- Choose the Associated Record Type: ClearSync Stripe Subscription
- Choose the Associated Record Property: Current MRR
- Conditions: None (since MRR automatically goes to zero when cancelled)
- Navigate to a HubSpot Company record, click Customize, then add the field that you just created to the Page Layout.
(2) Create a “Current ARR” field on the HubSpot Company:
- (A) Create a Current ARR field on the ClearSync Stripe Subscription App Object
- Navigate to Settings > Objects > App Objects > Select an Object > ClearSync Stripe Subscription
- Click Manage ClearSync Stripe Subscription Properties
- Click Create property > Create Manually
- Property Label: Current ARR
- Field Type: Calculation
- Calculated Property Type: Custom Equation
- Output Type: Number
- Number Format: Currency
- Formula: Click into the formula editor and start typing “Current” then select “Current MRR”, then multiply it by 12 as shown in the screenshot above.
- Click Create and optionally add it to the ClearSync Stripe Subscription page layout
- (B) Follow the same steps above in (1), creating a new rollup field on the HubSpot Company with these changes:
- Property Label: Current ARR (CLS)
- Choose the Associated Record Property: Current MRR
(3) Optional: Create Additional “Current ARR” fields
- Consider creating similar Calculation fields where you take (MRR * 12) for the following ClearSync Stripe Event properties:
- MRR Change > create ARR Change
- Current MRR > create Current ARR
- Previous MRR > create Previous ARR
